As the most senior non-legal member on the team, the COO is the key point of leadership to all staff members and works closely with the owner and rapidly-growing law firm on strategy, systems development, and HR issues.
As the COO I am involved in all phases of administration, personnel, finances, facilities, technology, and security, and responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the day-to-day operations of the Firm.

Being a DACA recipient and college graduate with her associates degree in science, Samantha Garcia is the administrative assistant for the Law Office of Jasmit Dhaliwal. With two years of experience doing office reception duties, Samantha is responsible in making sure everything runs smooth at the office. From scheduling appointments, communicating effectively and ensuring trust to our clients, to helping with translation on important meetings with our clients, and by helping the team stay organized, prepared, and informed, Samantha brings a smooth workflow with her eagerness to always help others. As part of the team, Samantha is a powerful force for the office as she is the face of the firm and is always ready to work with that positivity she spreads with a smile on her face. During the given opportunity and her free time, she loves to substitute for the Dallas Independent School District as she aspires to become a teacher someday. She also loves spending time with her family and enjoys painting while listening to music.

As the Office Manager at Law Office Of Jasmit Dhaliwal , where I’ve worked for over two and a half years, I oversee daily operations to ensure the firm runs smoothly. My responsibilities include managing office logistics, coordinating staff schedules, and handling administrative tasks to support the legal team’s efficiency. I focus on creating an organized environment by managing budgets, vendors, and resources. Additionally, I handle HR duties such as onboarding and policy compliance, and serve as a key point of contact for both staff and clients.

Brandon Fernandez, a graduate from Texas A&M University, and a Master’s Degree graduate from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, has worked as a paralegal for 3 years in the area of family law. He has provided legal and administrative support during his time at the previous law firm to aid attorneys in family law. He has gone from drafting pleadings, attending trials with attorneys and preparing each case individually to better aid each client in achieving the results they had hoped for. He has managed to work hands-on with many legal matters. His passion for the field and serving the needs of people in the community prompted him to obtain his Paralegal certificate from the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. Ever since, he continues to learn and grow in legal education in the hopes of expanding his expertise in various areas of the law. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching movies.

Whitney Peters is a dedicated law graduate from Southern University Law Center with a deep passion for family law and a strong commitment to serving clients with empathy and professionalism. As a paralegal at the Law Office of Jasmit Dhaliwal, she supports attorneys in all facets of case management, including legal research, drafting legal documents, and client communication. Whitney’s interest in family law was shaped by her experience with the Arkansas Department of Children and Family Services, as well as internships with the 19th Judicial District Family Court, the Baton Rouge Bar Association, and Southern University Law Center’s Juvenile Clinic. Through these roles, she gained hands-on experience in matters involving foster care, adoption, custody, divorce, and juvenile justice. In her spare time, Whitney enjoys shopping, spending time with family, giving back through volunteer work, and engaging in activities that promote personal well-being and inner peace.
